Amanda Choo, an NIE undergrad broke the national woman's 100m record with a time of 12.21 sec. The previous record was held by Prema Govindan (12.23 sec) for 18 years. It was at the 69th Singapore Open Track and Field Championship held at Gombak Stadium on 8 Sep 2007.
