KDF embarked on a fund-raising project in which they sold booklets of origami paper. Buyers then folded them into paper cranes and dropped them into boxes placed at shopping malls. Eventually 84,000 cranes were collected, raising $168,000. The projected ended at Junction 8 on 20 Oct 2007 with Singapore largest paper crane. It measured 2m x 3m.
