Canon's Photomarathon on 20 Oct 2007 had 1,086 photographers registering in the morning at Suntec City. A theme was given and in three hours they returned to download their photos. A second and third theme were given in like fashion. 830 photographers came back to submit their pictures and this is the greatest number of participants in such a contest.
