It took 30 chefs from The Banana Leaf Apolo five hours to cook 1,101 fish heads on 5 Jul 2007. Over a thousand guests packed the restaurant and the adjacent Hastings Road which was closed for the occasion, to savour the true-blue Singaporean dish. The event was organised in conjunction with the Singapore Food Festival.
