Ong Kim Seng, Cultural Medallion winner (1990), was the foremost exponent of watercolour painting in Singapore. His paintings have received worldwide acclaim and he has received the coveted Dolphin Fellowship, awarded by the American Watercolour Society (AWS), New York. He is the first person outside the US to have six awards from the AWS.
