The drillship Eniwetok snagged the cables of the cable car system in 1983, throwing off two cable cars and plunging eight people into the sea. Two-year-old Tasvinder Singh plunged, but was saved by port worker Abdul Latoff Jantan. 13 others trapped in four cars were rescued by helicopters.
