In 1997, NTUC Income started Singapore’s first car-sharing scheme. The NTUC Income Car Cooperative currently offers 24-hour access to 150 cars located conveniently at 55 sites in housing estates, near MRT stations and bus interchanges. The Car Cooperative has a membership of over 5,000.
