Adelene Wee Chin Suan was the first Singaporean to be named World Bowling Champion in 1985 when she won the Ladies’ Masters title at the World Games in London at the age of 20. She won three golds in the singles, masters and team events that same year at the Asian FIQ Youth Championships. In 1983, she also collected three golds in the doubles, all-events and masters at the same championship.
