The HSBC Wakeboard World Cup in Oct 2004 was the first international waterskiing and wakeboarding event to be held in Singapore. It was also the first to be held in a local reservoir. Organised by the Singapore Waterski & Wakeboard Federation and Singapore Sports Council, the event at Bedok Reservoir was the Singapore leg of the World Cup series.
