The first Asian Optimist team to secure top honours for all events was recorded during the 2005 International Optimist Dinghy Association Asian Optimist Event. Sean Lee and Jovina Choo came in first in the boys’ and girls’ events respectively. They were also in the winning team with fellow Singaporeans Timothy Seet, Justin Liu and Griselda Khng.
