Ng Liang Chiang (1921-1932) was the first and only athlete to win a gold for the 110-m hurdles at the first Asian Games held in New Delhi. Before that he had also won golds for the 100-m and 400-m hurdles at the 7th Annual Chinese National Athletic Meet in Shanghai, breaking the All-China records.
