The first synchronised swimming event in Singapore was held during the 7th Milo Asian Swimming Championships on 6-9 Mar 2006. A 12-member Singaporean team was reportedly formed just four months before the meet, trained and won two bronzes at the Toa Payoh Swimming Complex. In Jun 2006, Singapore held its inaugural national synchronised swimming meet, which attracted more than 50 participants representing various clubs and schools for this event. |
