The Singapore Chinese Football Association won the Singapore Football League in 1925 and the Singapore Malays took their first title in 1934. The two teams combined to form the Sino-Malays, causing uproar when they beat Australia 4-2 at the now defunct Anson Road Stadium in the 1930s. A wall reportedly collapsed. |
