1,200 pinwheels were spread out at the Youth Park on 17 Sep 2006 to commemorate International Day of Peace. The public was encouraged to make their own pinwheels, and even pen their peace messages on them. Pinwheels For Peace was organised by Global Association of Culture and Peace and South West CDC.
