Paint Singapore was organised by Aljunied Town Council and North East CDC. 200 school students working together with over 400 residents painted nine large murals on 3 Jul 2005 at the Kovan Hub. The schools involved in this project were: Damai Secondary, Bedok North Secondary, Bowen Secondary, Yuying Secondary, Xinmin Secondary School and ITE Bedok.
