On 11 Mar 2006, Erich Sollbock, who runs the Wuerstelstand stall in Chinatown, grilled the longest sausage measuring 88.88m at Kreta Ayer Square. Rudi’s Fine Food Pte Ltd produced the German sausage. The event was organised by the Chinatown Business Association in conjunction with the Discover Germany promotion.
