Six canoeists paddled two-seater canoes for 143 km and ran 12 km to complete the entire journey around Singapore in 29 hr 35 min. As the Causeway and some parts of Singapore’s seas were restricted to the challengers, they ran the distance while the canoes were transported by a lorry to the point where they could continue paddling. The paddlers were Yong Yuen Cheng, John Tham Keng Cheong, Kho Hao Yuan, Daniel Seng Wei Ren, Soh Kian Hong and Neo Lay Peng. |
