At the Recycling Day 2006, students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Tanglin Secondary School built a giant bin measuring 2.8m tall from used drink cartons. Held at the Clementi West St 2 Promenade on 23 Sep 2006, the event also marked the first time that Singapore introduced recycling of drink cartons.
