At the Y Camp Challenge, organised by the YMCA, 267 intellectually disabled people as well as their volunteer helpers danced to the YMCA song (made famous by the Village People) at the camp finale held at St Gabriel Secondary School. The intellectually disabled came from Association for Persons with Special Needs, Christian Outreach to the Handicapped, Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore, Touch Ubi Hostel, Y Special Teens and Arts and Recreation Society. The volunteers were from ITE, Uni-Y and RJC. |
