Out of 24 people who participated, Michael Chia, Fadzli Hussen and Norman Oman broke the world record by sitting through 36 films running for 72 hr outside Plaza Singapura on 22-25 Jul 2004. Contestants were allowed 5-min rest breaks between each movie and a 15-min break for every third film. Fadzli won S$19,000 for correctly answering the most questions after the movie marathon.
