A total of 3,593 runners participated in the 168-km Run Round Singapore 2005, an event organised by the NTU as part of its 50th anniversary on 1-2 Oct 2005. The race covered 50 relay stations around Singapore where runners can run part of the circuit.
Eight runners completed the 168-km route. The fastest runners were: Lim Nghee Huat (Class of 1975, 52 years old) with a time of 24 hr 44 min 52 sec; Yong Yuen Cheng (Class of 1997, 34 years old) in 26 hr 11 min 3 sec; and Adrian Mok (Class of 1999, 30 years old) in 27 hr 54 min 53 sec. |
