Longest Hula Hoop Chain - Editorial

 All participants gathered in the school hall, whereby in continuous lines they methodically passed the Hula Hoop, commencing with the Principal of the school Mr. Boo Hian Kok.

The Hula Hoop had to be passed in the line without the chain being broken, the students never faltered in their attempt and hands were joined together at all times.

The final person to receive the Hula Hoop was Vice Principal Mrs. Clara Tan and the entire community of Beatty Secondary School erupted into a very large roar.

The duration of the record attempt was one hour and 6 minutes. A total of 1,343 participants formed the human chain to establish this record.
