Longest Buffet Line - Editorial

A buffet line stretching 192.9384 meters, Select Catering Services’ impressed 4,000 food lovers who showed up to feast on the 510 dishes in the longest food line-up. A record number of 510 international and local dishes were whipped up by 100 chefs and kitchen helpers who worked round the clock for 24 hours to prepare and cook five tonnes of food provisions in support of 14 local charities. Proceeds from ticket sales for the multi-cuisine buffet – in which lunch and dinner was served - Proceeds from ticket sales for the multi-cuisine buffet went to the Chen Su Lan Methodist Children’s Home, Handicaps Welfare Association, Children’s Charities Association, Assisi Home and Hospice and Kidney Dialysis Foundation amongst other beneficiaries.
