A/Prof Ho said: “Today’s event will be a good opportunity for parents to learn first hand about the medical benefits of baby massage. By directly stimulating the musculoskeletal system, nervous system and circulatory system, the overall physical development of babies is improved. Research has shown health benefits for babies ranging from strengthening and regulating the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems, helping weight gain, enhancing development, reducing stress and improving immunological function. Massage also relaxes the body and mind of babies, and helps them to sleep better.”
