SYNCHRONISED BREASTFEEDING FOR WORLD RECORD 8 August 2007 Press Release 151 mothers with babes in arms across Singapore breastfed their infants at 10am on 8 Aug 2007 as part of the Guinness record attempt for the largest worldwide synchronised breastfeeding event. It was organised by Nurturers of the Earth, a Filipino support group that promotes the benefits of breastfeeding. In Singapore, the Breastfeeding Mothers' Support Group coordinated the effort at four locations - MacPherson Community Club, , KK Womens' and Childrens' Hospital, the National University Hospital and Mount Alvernia Hospital. |
