FASTEST SMS TEXTER - WORLD RECORD  12 November 2006 Press Release Ang Chuang Yang, a Raffles Institution student, clocked a time of 41.52 sec to beat the world record for sending the fastest 160-character SMS at the SingTel SMS Shootout on 12 Nov 2006. He broke the world record of 42.22 sec set by American Ben Cook in Jul 2006. Ang helped Singapore regain the world title after Ben Cook took it from Kimberly Yeo who broke the record in 43.24 sec in 2004. |
