SINGAPORE'S FIRST WOMEN’S EVEREST TEAM  The Singapore Women’s Everest Team (SWET) was formed in 2004 with the aim of climbing Mt Everest in the year 2008. This would be the very first all-women climbing team in Singapore and South-East Asia to attempt Everest. Since the team’s formation, it has been training for the mission. Members of the team are Jane Lee (Team Leader), Sim Yi Hui, Linda Tan, Carmen Lee, Lee Lihui, Lee Peh Gee, Joanne Soo, Esther Tan and Dr Thong Sze Ying. For more information:
